06:50 pm nick_tiger [Link]	Nokia POS. Ok, so I got my Nokia IP530 - and it looks wonderful. Actually, it boots up great and everything. Looks to be a fresh install of IPSO (the nokia operating system, I guess) ..I can't get into BIOS. It says "Hit F2 to enter system configuration utility' and I can't. I've tried multiple terminal programs, with multiple settings. Even putty I tried every setting it had for function keys. It sends the ^[OP, but I guess that's not what the Nokia Box wants, so it keeps booting. I've tried everything, even mashing the keyboard in hopes it would find something it wanted ;) Any ideas? Accessing via serial console 9600,8,n,1. Everything else works via serial (ie, can login, and look around, etc). -Tiger Nick Ps - there is like NO documentation on this thing. 06:12 pm aceswild [Link]	wow what a trip Well from July 20th till yesterday I was in Fort Leonard Wood, MO to visit my BF . I didnt expect to stay that long but things came up and I stayed a bit later. To sum up my experiance there.. I will break it down. 1. First of all i would like to say that I did'nt get to see alot of MO, ( due to Fawx's work schedule and lack of money) 2. BUGS.... Holy shit Lots and lots of Bugs ... everything from brown recluse spiders, luna moths, cicadas,praying mantis' crickets,locust...tons of bugs. I was halfway between facinated and scared at points, not to mention snakes... i only saw one ( a black racer snake) but it was 5 feet long. 3.Military Life and MP's Jesus.... there are interesting things and stupid things about both , too many to say... but usually interesting and fustrating at the same time. 4 . Things to do in Fort Leonard Wood/St. Robert ,MO 1. Get a tattoo 2. Get drunk 3. Go to Wallmart I did 2 & 3 but I will not get #1 untill i have the $$ and a good design 5.Last but not the least My sweet Fawx, Big kudos to that handsome Fawx, not only did he let me drive his car all over base and more, he did the following . Brought me to the movies multiple times and never allowed me to pay Brought me to a concert in Columbia, and Paid for that too Took me out to dinner and /or lunch many times Introduced me to some great anime Narauto (sp?) Trigun and CowboyBeBop Laid next to me many nights after shift and cuddled while watching said anime's and /or movies Put on his Zoot suit ...MURRRRRRRRRRRR..... such a sexy Fawx Sang for me multiple times as we were driving along. Brought me to Miller's cave, brought me along on his shift a few times. Played alot of monopoly, (electronic banker monopoly, 73 million dollar take over by yours truly) He paid for 90% of my time there I could'nt ask for anything more. 04:15 pm fursuit [slaphappybunny] [Link]	More Stuff Here are some Bernie Feet I finished up. They're built on a pair of sneakers. The paws were sewn from a pattern I made a while back, and the toes are stuffed with polyfill. I managed to sew the furry sole on this time, which is something that I'm proud of. :3 Pawpads are fleece. Oh, and I also learned that sewing paw pads is SO MUCH EASIER if you use a curved needle. I was making the tongue for my realistic wolf mask and thought, hey I think this would make a great tutorial for people who don't feel like sculpting a tongue. PLUS it's VERY lightweight :D! 01:57 pm duncandahusky [Link]	Well, that's a bummer One of the very few nearby non-Starbucks coffee houses, Prairie Croissant Cafe (a play on the Prairie Crossing development) is closing its doors after this weekend. This is bad news because it was a nice island of crunchy enviro-friendliness in the boring suburbs, with a touch of French gourmet food. 09:38 am sabotlours [Link]	Brain Dump Otto the Otter is a go! Suit has been ordered and paid for! My first gig will be next month at the State Fair. If the new suit isn't here by then, I'll have to use the old suit. shrugs We had a nice furmeet the other day at one of the local Indian casinos. You can't beat a $5 dinner buffet! There was a table of screaming babies very near us. I got some laughs when I said that judging from the looks of the parents, the 3 kids were probably 9, 18, and 27-months old. The assistant office manager "busted" me yesterday watching YouTube. Fortunately she is a Democrat and I was watching Hillary's speech so she thought it was very cool. lol For those of you with cartoon knowledge of biology, you might be very surprised to learn that roadrunners are not cute little birds just "runnin' down the road lookin' for fun." They are little versions of velociraptors. A couple of weeks ago there was a commotion at the bird feeder. All of the pets were inside, so I went to investigate. I just caught a glimpse of a roadrunner hopping over the fence with another bird in its beak. Today a roadrunner was running past the front of the house with a lizard dangling from its beak. Mmmmmmm. Vore. This weekend will be a furry campout. We'll be camped out in the Chain of Craters Wilderness Study Area at the base of an extinct volcano; Cerro Chato. There will be lots of beer, food, guns, and a whole lot of solitude. Any other NM furs want to tag along? I think we're at 4 or 5 folks right now. To those at EF, have a few German beers for me! Plz to leave a TXT or voicemail as I probably won't answer right away. Y'all are also invited to the tiki social. Okay, that's out of the way. This week has been a major karmic network unrest/upset. I think it's due to the Jews throwing the jewdo on me for spending their money on Friday. Part of the company network went down; things have been running generally slowly and to top it all off, I had a scary bus ride on the way home. You know something isn't right when the bus driver misses his turn, four-wheels through a parking lot like it ain't nothin; nearly scrapes the bus on a brick wall only to have some crazy lady try to turn into oncoming traffic on a one way street. To top it all off, a fire truck almost clips the bus as it ~~maneuvers~~ careens its way through a busy intersection. Stuff like that makes me just want to stay home. Thankfully this morning I was able to get out the door on time and start the day semi-normally. and one last thing before I leave: HAPPY HAROLD DAY! 09:10 am posicat [Link]	Even with a rumble in the front wheel I'm going to fix tonight, my car's doing really well after the bearing repair. I got on the toll road last night, and decided to reset the trip computer. For the drive home, I pulled over 30mpg, my drive to work this morning lowered that to about 25 because there's a lot of stop and go, and I'm not awake enough to be aware of how I use the accelerator.
